Command Mode

User Guidelines
This command is relevant if the guest VLAN is enabled on the port.
Configuring the timeout adds delay from enabling 802.1X (or port up) to the
time the device adds the port to the guest VLAN.
Example
The following example sets the delay between enabling 802.1x and adding a
port to a guest VLAN to 60 seconds.
Console(config)#
dot1x guest-vlan timeout
60
dot1x guest-vlan enable
Use the
dot1x guest-vlan enable
Interface Configuration (Ethernet) mode
command to enable unauthorized users on the interface access to the guest
VLAN. Use the
no
form of this command to disable access.
Syntax
dot1x guest-vlan enable
no dot1x guest-vlan enable
Default Configuration
The default configuration is disabled.

User Guidelines
A device can have only one global guest VLAN. The guest VLAN is defined
using the
dot1x guest-vlan
Interface Configuration mode command.
