logging source-interface
Specify that the IP address of an interface is the source IP address of Syslog packets sent to the Syslog
server.
Syntax
logging source-interface
interface
To disable this command and return to the default setting, use the
no logging source-interface
command.

Syslog messages contain the IP address of the interface used to egress the router. By configuring the
logging source-interface
command, the Syslog packets contain the IP address of the interface
configured.
