SAS Backplane Board Connectors

The SAS backplane is present in systems that have a front-loading hot-plug
hard drive bay (when available). Figure 6-2 shows the locations of the SAS
backplane connectors.

NVRAM_CLR
Pins 3-5 (default)
The configuration settings in NVRAM are
retained at next system boot.
Pins 1-3
The configuration settings are cleared at the next
system boot. (If the configuration settings
become corrupted to the point where the system
will not boot, install the jumper and boot the
system. Remove the jumper before restoring the
configuration information.)
PWRD_EN
Pins 2-4 (default)
The password feature is enabled.
Pins 4-6
The password feature is disabled.
