Script Commands
NOTE:
If you set the
writeConsistency
parameter to
TRUE
, the virtual
disks must be in a write-consistency group (or groups). This command resumes all
write-consistency groups that contain the virtual disks. For example, if virtual disks
A, B, and C are in a write-consistency group and they have remote counterparts A’,
B’, and C’, the resume
remoteReplication
virtual disk [“A”]
writeConsistency=TRUE
command resumes A-A’, B-B’, and C-C’.
Revive Disk Group
This command forces the specified disk group and associated failed physical
disks to the Optimal state. All physical disks assigned to the disk group must
be installed before you attempt to run this command.
CAUTION:
Correct use of this command depends on the data configuration on all
of the physical disks in the disk group. Never attempt to revive a physical disk
unless supervised by a Customer or Technical Support representative.
Syntax
revive diskGroup [
diskGroupNumber
]
Parameter
writeConsistency
The setting to identify the virtual disks in this command
that are in a write-consistency group or are separate. For the
virtual disks to be in the same write-consistency group, set
this parameter to
TRUE
. For the virtual disks to be separate,
set this parameter to
FALSE
.

Description
diskGroup
Number of the disk group to be set to the optimal state. You
must put brackets ([ ]) around the disk group number.
