Prerequisites

Remove the
stand assembly

Remove the
back cover
.
3.
Remove the
memory module(s)
.
4.
Remove the
system-board shield
.
5.
Remove the
hard drive
.
6.
Remove the
VESA-mount bracket
.
7.
Remove the
converter board
.
8.
Remove the
power-supply diagnostic board
.
9.
Remove the
I/O bracket
.
10.
Remove the
optical drive
.
11.
Remove the
power-supply fan
.
12.
Remove the
power-supply unit
.
13.
Remove the
processor heat sink
.
14.
Remove the
processor fan
.
15.
Remove the
processor
.
16.
Remove the
wireless card
.
17.
Remove the
coin-cell battery
.
18.
Remove the
system board
.
19.
Remove the
speaker cover
.
20.
Remove the
speakers
.
21.
Remove the
camera
.
22.
Remove the
antennas
.
Procedure
1.
Remove the screw that secures the ground cable to the display-panel base.
2.
Remove the screws that secure the release latches to the display-panel base.
3.
Lift the release latches off the display-panel base.
4.
Rotate and lift the release-latch brackets off the display-panel base.
