Prerequisites

Remove the base cover. See "Removing the Base Cover" on page 13
Removing the Power-Light Board

Lift the connector latch and pull the pull-tab to disconnect the power-
light board cable from the connector on the I/O board.
2
Remove the screw that secures the power-light board to the palm-rest
assembly.
3
Lift the power-light board off the palm-rest assembly.
