OPERATING YOUR MINI FOOD PROCESSOR AND CHOPPER
1) Place the non-slip mat (E) onto the work surface with the ribbed side down.
2) Position the glass bowl (D) onto the middle of the non-slip mat.
3) Fit the blade assembly (C) over the pin in the glass bowl. Blades are sharp so
use caution during assembly.
4) Add your food (see the “Processing Guide” section of your instruction manual).
Cut large pieces of food into 1/2 to 3/4-inch pieces.
5) Note: For chopping hard foods such as ice cubes, coffee beans and chocolate,
use a pulsing action.
6) Fit the splash guard (B) onto the glass bowl. Make sure the slots in the splash
guard fit over the handles in the rim of the glass bowl. The unit will not operate
if the splash guard is improperly positioned.
7) Fit the power unit (A) into the hole at the top of splash guard. The power unit
will only fit correctly in two positions.
8) Plug the unit into a 120V/60Hz AC only outlet.
9) With your hand, press down on the top of the power unit to begin operation.
Press down for short lengths of time to produce a pulsing action. This will
avoid over-processing the ingredients.
10) If the machine labors, remove some of the mixture. Continue processing in
separate batches to avoid straining the motor.
11) To terminate operation, remove your hand from the top of the unit or discontinue
pressure.
12) Do not run the mini food processor and chopper continuously for longer than 30
seconds. Leave the unit to cool for 1 minute in between each 30-second
operation.
13) After use, unplug unit and carefully dismantle detachable parts.
14) Note: The included glass bowl (D) can be used in a microwave oven for
reheating purposes. A sealed lid (F) is also included for storage purposes.
Once chopping is completed, save the contents by placing the sealed lid on top
of the glass bowl. Note: Sealed lid is not safe for use in microwave ovens.
