CONNECTION OF THE TEMPERATURE PROBES
At input B of the instrument DO 9709 a temperature probe of the series TP 870 may be connected,
or a 4-wire probe with a Pt100 sensor.
These probes have a DIN41524 8-pole male connector.
Probe connection diagram.
Platinum thermoresistance.
Temperature-sensitive electric resistance, complete with insulation and with connecting leads.
Range of use of platinum thermoresistances.
The range of use of platinum thermoresistances is between -200 and 850°C.
If suitably specified, the range of use may be different, as long as it stays within the limits stated
above.
Tolerance of platinum thermoresistances.
Interval, expressed in Celsius degrees (or in Ohm), within which the real characteristic of the resi-
stance thermometer must fall. Two degrees of tolerance are contemplated, A or B, according to
standard IEC 751 (1983), and three classes 1/3 DIN, 1/5 DIN and 1/10DIN, according to standard
DIN 43760 (1980).
