4.1.5 Start a memorization section (Logging)
To start a
Logging
section, press
MEM
key: the key starts and stops the memorization (Logging) of
a data block that will be kept into the instrument internal memory. The frequency with which the
data are memorized is set with "
Log interval"
menu parameter. The memorized data between a
start and a following stop represent a measurement block.
With the memorization function on,
LOG and number of logging section
appears on the display; a
beep is given out during each memorization.
To finish the logging, press
MEM
key again.
The instrument can switch off during the logging between an acquisition and the following one: the
function is controlled by
Auto_shut_off_Mode
parameter. With a memorization interval less than
one minute, the instrument remains always on during the logging; with an interval of at least one
minute, it switches off between an acquisition and the following one.
