LUBRICATION OF GEARS
Change your gear box oil once a year. Use extreme pressure gear oil, available from DELTA in one pint (473 ml) cans.
You will need approximately 20 oz. (591 ml). The gear box drain plug is shown at (A) Fig. 62. The oil fill and level plug
is shown at (B) Fig. 63.
Lubricate the four elevation screws, two of which are shown at (C) Fig. 64, as needed using a common grease.
Periodically remove the screw (D) and the side cover (E). Thoroughly clean the chains and sprockets (F) Fig. 65 and
lubricate, using a light machine oil. Replace the side cover (E) Fig. 64. Secure with the screw (D).

LUBRICATION OF INFEED/OUTFEED
ROLLERS
The infeed and outfeed rollers can be lubricated through
four holes (two of which are shown at (G) Fig. 66) in the
top of the planer head.
NOTE:
The other two holes are located on the other side
of the planer head, just above the ends of the infeed and
outfeed rollers.
Add 2-3 drops of 10W machine oil into each hole (G) Fig.
66 every 50 hours of use.
