After setting the logging interval and clicking on the
“Endless loop memory” item, start logging.
Before the
instrument memory gets full and without stopping
recording
, the memory content can be dumped: Delta-
Log2 will link the new dumped data together with those
already available on PC, related to prior recordings. In
order to let everything work properly, when you first
connect, the program will ask you to register the mini-
datalogger, so that it will be identified every time it will
be connected to the same PC. Answer YES when you
are asked to create
a new registration. In the next
screen, click the
Register Instr.
key: the new minidata-
logger will be added to the list of the instruments regis-
tered on that PC. Press the
Close
key to close the
In-
strument Manager
.
If the endless loop memory function has been activated and a too long time has elapsed, the latest
data will overrun the old one: in this case, when dumping data again, the program will signal an
“
overrun
” indicating date and duration of this overrun. In this last case, there will be a “hole” in re-
cording in correspondence with the first data of the last recording.
N.B.: to grant data continuity, once the endless loop memory function has been activated, it shall not
be deactivated.
