You have bought a webcam to use with Windows XP, Vista or 7.

Follow this step by step guide on how to get started and use the webcam.

Installation

This web cam is installed Plug and play without the need to install drivers from 
the included CD.

1: Start up your computer.
2: Locate a free USB port and connect the webcam.
3: Windows will now install the webcam.
4: Ready to use.

Snap-shot button

This webcam is equipped with a snap-shot button for taking still images with the webcam 
connected to your computer. To use the snap-shot button, please follow this step by step guide.

1: After connecting the webcam to your computers USB port, insert the included CD 

  into your CD-/DVD drive of your computer.

2: The installation will start automatically. Follow the instructions of the installation

  process on your computer screen. If the installation does not start automatically, 

  please locate the CD-/DVD-drive in Explorer(My computer) and start the installation.

3: The software AmCap will be installed in your system. It can be accessed via 

  the shortcut on the Windows desktop or via the Start menu under 

  “Vimicro USB 2.0 UVC PC Camera”.

4: Ready to use.

Adjusting focus

To adjust the focus, turn the small knob around the lens to match your distance to the camera.
