The total thickness of the 7 layers is always calculated to have the correct temperature
distribution, fully adapted to the cooking technique:
- For woks: 2.3 mm/0.09”
- For conical sauté pans, simmering pots and frying pans/skillets: 3 to 3.3 mm/0.12 to 0.13”
- For Proline frying pans/skillets: 4.8 mm/0.19”
D. 5-ply material up to the edge
This special combination of different alloys, including aluminum, ensures that the heat
is not concentrated in one place, but is evenly distributed over the entire surface of the
pan. A magnetic stainless steel exterior makes these products suitable for all cookers,
including induction.
E. Radiant® base
The unique ‘Radiant’ base with which Demeyere aluminum cookware is equipped
creates a larger contact area, resulting in an increased stability on any heat source, an
accelerated heat absorption and a uniform heat distribution.
All Demeyere aluminum products are made of 5 mm/0.2” thick aluminum. The base of
Demeyere’s top aluminum ranges has been enriched with the exceptional 'TriplInduc®'
combination (see A. InductoSeal®).
5.1.3. Silvinox® surface treatment
All Demeyere ‘Made in Belgium’ stainless steel products are made of stainless steel and
are manufactured using Silvinox®, a unique electrochemical surface treatment system
that enriches the material by removing iron and impurities from the surface. This makes
the stainless steel easy to clean, and provides a higher resistance to fingerprints, harsh
detergents or strong acidic foods. The products retain their silvery white color, even after
years of use.

B. InductoBase® base
The 'InductoBase®' base consists of seven layers with a heat-conducting core of pure
aluminum. This aluminum layer, with a thickness of 5 mm/0.2”, ensures there is an even
heat transfer through the base, to provide optimum cooking, even at low heat. Layers
5, 6 and 7 together make up TriplInduc® (see A. InductoSeal®).
C. 7-PlyMaterial® up to the edge
'7-PlyMaterial®' is a unique technology consisting of 7 alloys including stainless steel
and an aluminum core. This technology is used for both the product's base and sides;
it ensures optimum heat distribution to the edge of the pan and allows for perfect
control over the cooking process. Thanks to TriplInduc® (see A. InductoSeal®), the
7-PlyMaterial® guarantees up to 30% more efficiency on induction.
