b. The pressure drop in the tubing line should not be more than the 5% set pressure of air compressor, so it
is better choose the caliber with its size larger than the design value during piping time.
c. The branch pipeline must be connected out from the main pipeline to avoid that the condensed water
flows to the working machine or backflow to the air compressor.
d. Tools need lubricating oil should be installed with three-elements (air filter and water filter, voltage
regulator, oil feeder) to protect the tools service life.
e. The main pipeline shouldn’t be lessened at will, if it is necessary to lessen or magnify the pipeline, we
must use reducing pipe, otherwise, it will occur mixed flow at the connection point, which will loss a lot of
pressure and play a significant impact on the pipeline service life.
f. If there is any purification and buffering facility after the air compressor, such as air receiver, air dryer and
so on, the ideal piping is air com air r air dryer. If so, the air receiver can remove parts of
condensed water, and the air receiver also has the function of lowering the exhaust temperature. The air
with lower temperature and little water will enter the air dryer, which can reduce the air dryer load.
g. If the system air usage is large with short time, it will be better to install an air receiver to buffer it, which
can reduce the number of air compressor empty and load and do great help to the air compressor.
h. If the compressed air with system pressure is under 1.5MPa, its flow rate in the delivering pipe should be
less than 15m/s to avoid the overlarge pressure drop.
g. Try to reduce the usage of elbow and various valves in the pipeline to avoid the pressure loss.
h. Ideal piping is that the main pipe line surrounds the whole factory, so that we can get the compressed air
in all aspects at any position. If the air usage amount of certain branch suddenly increases a lot, the pressure drop
decreases. Proper valves allocation on the ring main line will make it easy to cut off during inspection period.

Foundation
a. Foundation should be built on crusty soils, and mill the foundation surface to be horizontal before
installation to get rid of the vibration of air compressor.
b. If the air compressor is installed upstairs, we must deal well with the anti-vibration to get rid of spreading
the vibration to downstairs or resonance, which will remove the worry of the safety of air compressor and
building.
c. Screw air compressor produces little vibration, so it is no need to build the foundation. However, the
ground where it is placed should be smooth and no soft soil underground.

Cooling system
a. The cooling water consumption of water-cooling air compressor should be better use soft water to avoid that
the calcium and magnesium plasma in water will have chemical reaction because of high temperature and form
incrustation in the cooler, which will impact the cooler hot transmitting effects. If using the cooling water tower
circulation system, the water should be added softener at regular intervals to keep the cleanness of water
quality.
b. The automatic compensating system of cooling water circulating system must be improved, if not, after
operating some time, the cooling water will be not enough, which will result in the air compressor trip for high
temperature.
