Maintenance
1. It is only allowed to use original spare parts. Changes at the machine are not allowed.
Disrespecting this can influence the liability is refused.
2. Only do maintenance work at stopped engine. The spark plug connector has to be removed
before.
3. After maintenance work each safety construction has to be re-installed again corresponding to the
user’s manual.
4. To avoid malfunction the machine is to be cleaned after each use. It is not allowed to use
chemical materials or high pressure washer.
Please, in addition, take care of directives and prescriptions valid in your country.
RESIDUAL RISKS
Even with the normal intended use and taking care of all safety instructions it is possible that residual
risks are given by the construction. Residual risks can be minimized by taking care of the complete
"Safety Warnings" and correct using as well as the user’s manual. Consideration and carefulness
minimize the risk of injuring persons or damages.
Carelessness often is an important fact for accidents or damages.
Please always work carefully and focussed.
Contusions:
Keep away hands and feet from movable parts, because of the possibility of getting under the
compactor. Minimize the risk of contusion of feet by wearing safety shoes with steel inlet. Assure
yourself that the machine and the user do have stability and the machine is not able to overbalance or
fall down.
Vibrations:
A longer using time of the machine can cause circulatory disturbance of hands because of the
vibrations. A general using time of the machine can not be indicated, because of the influence of
several parameters.
Using time can be lengthened by:

Protection of hands (warm gloves)

making breaks
Using time will be shortened by:

special, individual tendency for circulatory disturbance (characteristics: often cold fingers,
prickling)

the hardness of the ground, which has to be worked with

low temperatures
-
dimension of grab power (hard grabbing disturbs the circulatory)
