At constant and long use of the machine and repeated problems (e.g. prickling of fingers) a medical
investigation is recommended.
Risks of working environment:
Make s
ure walls of embankments are solid and can’t get damaged by the vibration. Make also sure,
that there are no cables, water or gas pipes in the ground, which you want to work with. All these
things are not able to be worked with the machine. Be carefully by working in the near of insecure
bored holes or lots. The use of the machine is on own responsibility and in own discretion.
Burn hazard
Touching the exhaust boxes, exhaust pipe or other heated parts of the machine can cause burns.
Furthermore there can be more not obvious residual risks.
DESCRIPTION
Operating conditions:
This compact all-rounder is ideal for soil compaction in small-sized space conditions such as in soil,
asphalt and paving, as well where the use of a larger engine is not possible.
The plate compacter could be used for home improvement, home building and landscaping. It
provides a low-maintenance design, ease of use and easy transportation.
Max. allowed inclined position:
The maximum allowed inclined position of the machine is 20 percent.
Description of the function:
The necessary vibration for the compacting is generated by exciter connected with the ground plate.
This exciter is made like a central generator with straight waves.
The combustion engine which is mounted on the upper plate (Fig. 1, number 3) is driving the exciter
(Fig. 1, number 4). The torque is transmitted by the centrifugal clutch and the v-belts (Fig 1, number 8)
friction-locked.
The centrifugal clutch cuts the transmission to the exciter at low rpm. This makes it possible that the
engine can run at idle speed without problems. You can adjust the rpm continuously at the throttle
lever (Fig. 1, number 1). Upper plate and ground plate (Fig. 1, number 12) are connected through 4
rubber bumps. This absorption avoids the transmission of high frequencies to the upper plate.
Because of this the function of the engine itself is not influenced by the frequencies of the exciter and
you can benefit from a high compacting performance.
The engine is a 4-stroke combustion engine and has to be started by the recoil starter (Fig. 1, number
2). It works with a dry air filter and is air-cooled.
