Reprocessing with the DAC UNIVERSAL
4.2.1
Switching on, off and heating up the device
Switching on the device
Once the DAC Universal has been switched on at the main switch on
the rear of the device, the device heats up until it is ready for use.
The heating phase of the DAC Universal takes approx. 10-12 minutes.
IMPORTANT
A reprocessing cycle can be started during the heating phase.
During the heating phase, the display shows the start dialog of the DAC
Universal.
If a process is started although the heating phase has not finished, this
is shown with the image on the left. When the heating phase is
complete, the reprocessing cycle is run directly thereafter.
IMPORTANT
Do not start the DAC Universal without a lid inserted into the holder of
the DAC Universal.
Switching off the device
The manufacturer recommends switching off the DAC Universal at the
end of work using the main switch on the rear.
Canceling a reprocessing cycle
The "
Cancel" function key can be used to stop a reprocessing cycle.
WARNING
Risk of contamination!
After canceling a reprocessing cycle, the load may still be
contaminated. After cancellation, allow the lid to cool sufficiently, as
otherwise the next cleaning cycle may be affected.
