4.2 Reprocessing with the DAC UNIVERSAL

CAUTION
Risk of burns!
The metal part of the lid is very hot. Always touch only the plastic part
of the lid.
1.
Remove the Blue lid from the holder on the DAC Universal at the
end of the cycle to allow the instruments to cool down faster.
2.
Turn the Blue lid so that the instruments are pointing up.
3.
Place the Blue lid on the counter or put it in the lid holder.
WARNING
Risk of contamination!
Please follow the instrument manufacturer's instructions when
handling the instruments.

4.
Check the instruments visually to make sure they are dry.

Check the instruments visually to make sure they have been cleaned.
5.
Read the cycle number above next to the completed cycle symbol.
6.
Check on your documentation (printer, software, etc.) that the cycle
was conducted properly: "Disinfection, time, ok".

If everything is correct, reprocessing was successful.
7.
Document the cycle according to the work instructions applicable in
your practice.
8.
Remove all the instruments from the Blue lid when the lid and the
instruments have cooled down sufficiently. See the separate
operating instructions for adapters for detailed instructions on how
to remove the instruments from the individual adapters.
WARNING
Risk of contamination!
Do not touch the housing of the DAC Universal with the reprocessed
instruments when removing them.
