Switching the treatment center on/off
Updating software
After the operating voltage is switched on, the boot loader is started on all
boards. The HSA board software checks whether all components are up-
to-date.
If they are not up-to-date, following a board change, for example, the
software version is shown in brackets in the setup dialog (SW1.0). In this
case, the current software must be loaded via DUMC.
If the software is up-to-date, it receives a start release. The corresponding
boot LEDs go out and the application software is loaded.
The green LED on the user interface is electronically coupled directly to
the 36 V operating voltage.
Switching the treatment center on/off via the user interface
If the dental treatment center is switched off via the user interface, the
water unit emits a short beep to confirm the shutdown.
If a Dürr wet suction system is installed, its tank must be emptied before
the dental treatment center is switched off. This can take up to 15
seconds.
Following a switch-off via the user interface, the treatment center can be
switched back on via the user interface. This is not possible if the unit was
switched off at the power switch.
Switching the treatment center on/off via the central switch
If the treatment center is to be booted via a central switch located in the
practice, pin X1.A5 on the connecting cable from the power supply unit to
the NWEm (L207) can be removed on the X1 connector to the power
supply and insulated.
The treatment center can then only be switched on and off again centrally
via the main switch on the chair.
