9.2 Adjusting the spring force of the flex arm on the dentist element

Setting the spring force on the CS assistant element
1. Loosen the 3 screws (A) of the cover and remove the cover.
2. Remove the top cover (B).
3. Open the flex arm covers (C) towards the dentist element.
This makes the adjustment screw (D) accessible (hexagon
socket head screw, 4 mm).
4. Adjust the spring force by tightening or loosening the adjustment
screw (D).
The actuating forces for lowering or lifting up should be roughly the
same; in case of doubt, the lowering movement should require
greater force.
5. Remount the covers removed previously in reverse order.
