Initiating Sleep mode
1. Press and hold the battery button for longer than 5 seconds.
The LEDs will shut down 5-4-3-2-1-0. Continue to press the battery button
for another 2-3 seconds or so after the last LED has gone out.
The battery will go into a deep sleep in the next 60 seconds.
2. The battery is now in Sleep mode.
6.3.2 Inserting the battery
If you only want to go for a quick test run, you do not need
to charge the battery. You should charge it before your
first longer cycle ride however,

, because the battery is only partially charged
(production regulations dictate that batteries are supplied
partially charged by approx. 50 %).
1. Insert the battery from above into the holder.
2. Push the battery into the holder until it clicks into place.
3. If the key is in the lock, turn the key clockwise and remove.
PLEASE NOTE
Make sure that the battery is locked and firmly seated in the holder
before starting the ride. Otherwise, the battery may fall out of the
holder during the ride. The battery key must no longer be in the lock.
This may get broken as the crank turns.
6.3.3 Unlocking and removing the battery
1. Twist the key anticlockwise. The lock is
now open.
