Using OpenVoice
The Voice Menu of OpenVoice
Let’s say you want to redefine
the closing text used for your
voicebox callers. First you listen
to the current assignment (

selection or record a new text,
continue by using the code
digits or waiting until you hear
the prompts in the voice menu.

You can decide not to have a
closing text for your voicebox
callers if you don’t want one.

You can activate (or deactivate)
certain settings for your voice-
box:
You can determine whether or
not callers can leave messages in
your voicebox and the maxi-
mum length of time available
for a single message.
You can activate (or deactivate)
the announcements stating the
telephone number and the date
and time of the call.
Example:

In the above example you switch
the announcement stating the
telephone number: the
announcement is switched
off
if it was previously
on
, and it is
switched
on
if it was previously
off

You can switch the PIN query for
internal calls to the voicebox on
or off.

You can define a telephone
number on which you are called
on another terminal when a
message arrives in your voicebox
and can then activate the re-
spective function (“on” or “off”).
If the notification call is acti-
vated, the voicebox will set up
an independent connection to
the notification call number
which has been configured. Af-
ter accepting the call, you can
immediately start working with
your voicebox.

You can use the secretarial func-
tion.
You can specify the telephone
number of a “secretary” who is
to be called instead of your
voicebox and can then activate
the respective function
(
on
or
off
).
If the secretarial function is ac-
tive, a voicebox caller is in-
formed of this by your welcom-
ing text or by the standard text
for the secretarial function, and
