Basic: Routing
The previous screen shows settings based on EPL index 0x1E90 - 0x1ECF.
The routing screen allows to view or delete existing routes and to add new routes. Every time 4
existing routes are part of the routing table, which are based on the actual IP address. Without
this route the device has no ability to communicate over Ethernet. The EPL gateway has two dif-
ferent interfaces. One for the generic side and one for the EPL side. Based on the actual hard-
ware design interface for EPL side is called DPRAM because the EPL is connected over
DPRAM.
Note
Metric is not used in actual stack version. Every time when the stack tries to find a route, the
first is taken from the list.
