supports the communication via Sandar Prosan protocol, or via Leitch protocol,
or via QEC protocol (chapter 4.4.1).

The DEV 1953 is usually equipped with two hot-pluggable redundant wide range AC
power supply modules supplied by two different AC lines. If the device was ordered
with Option 14, two DC power supplies are installed, instead.
Each power supply module provides a green LED indicating the proper "
Operation
" of
the module and a red LED indicating a "
Failure
" of the module.

Digital Interface Modules

If the product is ordered with one of the digital interface options (Option 56 for
24 V or Option 57 for 12 V), a digital interface module is installed, usually located at
the rear side of the chassis right to the power inlets. Please refer to chapter 5.4 for
the operation via the digital interface and to chapter 7 for the pin assignment and
for the technical details.
