Never use a light socket.
Never connect the live (L) or neutral (N)
wires to the earth pin marked E or

For 115 V units with a power rating exceeding 1500 W,
we recommend to fit a plug to BS4343 standard.
Using an extension cable
If an extension cable is required, use an approved
extension cable suitable for the power input of this
machine (see technical data). The minimum
conductor size is 1.5 mm

When using a cable reel, always unwind the cable
completely.

Assembly and adjustment
Prior to assembly and adjustment always
unplug the tool.
Mounting the wheels (fig. B)
• Hold the first wheel (6) in front of the wheel
bracket (7).
• Pass the wheel bolt (8) through the wheel and
the wheel bracket.
• Place a nut (9) onto the screw thread. Tighten the
nut
• Mount the other wheel according to the same
instructions.
Mounting the handle grip (fig. C)
• Firmly push the handle grip (10) onto the
handle (11).
Mounting the foot (Fig. D)
• Firmly push the rubber foot (12) onto the stand (13).
Fitting and removing an air hose (fig. E)
The unit is equipped with 1 air hose connector.
Fitting
• Push the male end (14) of the air hose in the
connector (3).
• Check whether the air hose has been connected
properly.
Removing
• Push the male end (14) of the air hose further in
the connector (3).
• Push in the collar (15) of the connector.
• Remove the air hose by pulling the male end out
of the connector.
• Release the collar.
Before fitting or removing an air hose,
always make sure the pressure is off the
tank.
Adjusting the air pressure (fig. F)
The pressure available at the air hose can be
adjusted to the pressure rating of the tool or
accessory to be connected to this unit.
• Pull out the adjustment knob (2).
• Adjust the air pressure by turning the knob.
The air pressure can be read from the gauge (4).
- To increase the air pressure, turn the knob into
the clockwise direction.
- To decrease the air pressure, turn the knob into
the anticlockwise direction.
• Push the knob in the locking position when the
required pressure has been set.
Always check the maximum pressure
rating of the tool or accessory to
beconnected to the unit.
