To Install the Battery Pack into the Tool
1. Align the battery pack

with the rails inside the tool
(Fig. C).
2. Slide it into the tool until the battery pack is firmly seated
and ensure that you hear the lock snap into place.
To Remove the Battery Pack from the Tool
1. Press the release button

and firmly pull the battery pack
out of the tool handle (Fig. D).
2. Insert battery pack into the charger as described in the
charger section of this manual.
Fuel Gauge Battery Packs (Fig. E)

battery packs include a fuel gauge which
consists of three green LED lights that indicate the level of
charge remaining in the battery pack.
To actuate the fuel gauge, press and hold the fuel gauge button

. A combination of the three green LED lights will illuminate
designating the level of charge left. When the level of charge
in the battery is below the usable limit, the fuel gauge will not
illuminate and the battery will need to be recharged.
nOtE:
The fuel gauge is only an indication of the charge left on
the battery pack. It does not indicate tool functionality and is
subject to variation based on product components, temperature
and end-user application.
Removing blower from box (Fig. A)
nOtE:
The blower and joystick tube assembly are attached
when shipped. Trying to pull one side out without the other
may result in damage to the cable

1. Grab the blower handle

and the joystick

removing simultaniously.
2. Cut the plastic zip tie that is tethering the joystick to
the blower.
3. Remove the rest of the parts and assemble as
instructed below.
Assembly (Fig. A, F –M)
CAUTION: Ensure the battery-selection switch is
in the center "OFF" position to prevent the blower
from actuating and the battery is removed before
attaching or removing the tubes. The tubes must be
fully assembled before use.
Tube Assembly
attaching Flexible tube to elbow tube (Fig. a, F, G)
1. Remove the tube clamp with cable clip

. Note the orientation of the clamp for when it
is reattached.
2. Slide the flexible tube over the elbow tube

as shown in
figure F.
3. Keeping the clamp in the same orientation as it was before
removing it from the flexible tube, pull open the clamp
with cable clip and wrap it around the flexible tube where it
attaches to the elbow tube as shown in figure G.
4. Slide the clamp bolt

through the clamp. Thread the hex
nut

onto the clamp bolt by hand.
5. Using the hex wrench

, tighten the bolt until the clamp
holds the flexible tube securely to the collar and joystick
tube.
DO nOt OVERtIGHtEn.
Overtightening the clamp
could result in damage to the tool and will restrict the
movement of the joystick tube

3. Firmly twist the lower tube to lock the nub completely
into one of the two recesses of the lower tube. The two
recesses allow you to set the tube longer or shorter,
depending on the length desired. Ensure the lower tube is
securely attached.

position. Do not overtighten. Overtightening the joystick
