Thank you!

Thank you very much for your investment in DEWETRON‘s unique data acquisition systems. These are top-quality 

instruments which are designed to provide you years of reliable service. This guide has been prepared to help you 

get the most from your investment, starting from the day you take it out of the box, and extending for years into the 

future.
This guide includes important startup notes, as well as safety notes and information about keeping your DEWETRON 

system in good working condition over time. However, this manual cannot and is not intended to replace adequate 

training.
This documentation contains operating as well as safety and care instructions that must be observed by the user. Fault

-

less operation can only be guaranteed by observing these instructions. 

Intended use

A DEWETRON DEWE3-A4L is an all-in-one instrument and the high-speed solution of the popular, previous generation 

DEWE2-A4L. The instrument offers 4 slots for user exchangeable TRION/TRION3 series modules and 

is used for measu-

ring different physical and/or electrical sizes (depending on model or configuration). To achieve the high performance 

of up to 5 MS/s

 simultaneous sampling rate, use the new TRION3 series modules. Still, the DEWE3 series instruments 

are downward compatible and can also be equipped with the common TRION modules.
The connection depends on the model or configuration and established via safety banana plugs, BNC connectors, D-

SUB connectors, SMB connectors, LEMO® or RJ-45 connectors. 
The DEWE3-A4L can be operated 100 % by touch, including alphanumeric entry, channel set-up and display configura

tion.
