Award BIOS Setup Utility
3.1.6 PnP/PCI Configurations
This section shows how to configure the PCI bus system. It covers
some very technical items and it is strongly recommended that only
experienced users should make any changes to the default settings.
3.1.6.1 PNP OS Installed
The default setting is “No”. The BIOS will detect the Plug and Play
devices for some compatible resources.
3.1.6.2 Reset Configuration Data
Enabled
The BIOS will reset the Extended System Configuration
Data (ESCD) once automatically. It will then recreate a
new set of configuration data.
Disabled
The BIOS will not reset the configuration data.
3.1.6.3 Resources Controlled By
The Award Plug and Play BIOS has the capability to automatically
configure all of the boot and Plug and Play compatible devices.
Auto(ESCD)
The system will automatically detect the settings for
you.
Manual
Choose the specific IRQ resources in the “IRQ
Resources” field.
The settings on the screen are for reference only. Your version may not be
identical to this one.
