M.2 Sockets
The M.2 socket is the Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF) which is designed to support mul-
tiple modules and make the M.2 more suitable in application for solid-state storage. The board
preserves space and two standoffs for the M.2 E key socket (22mm x 30mm) and an M.2 M
Key socket (22mm x 42mm or 22mm x 80mm).
Mini PCIe (optional)
The Mini PCIe socket allows for a full-size Mini PCIe module, and supports PCIe 2.0 or USB 2.0
signals.
M.2 E Key 2230
M.2 B Key 3042/2042
M.2 M Key 2242/2280
