For half width platforms, position the fitting jigs in function
of the arm width CA of the HTL, and the position that the
half platform requires in the rear body structure.
Once the position of the fitting jigs is finalised and
checked, fasten them to the rear cross member of the
loading floor of the vehicle by means of bolts, clamps or
spot welding [See Fig. 4.2, 4.3].
Ensure that the holes of the 2 fitting jigs are perfectly
aligned. One way to realise this, is to slide a round bar
through the holes, and to check the alignment with the rear
cross member of the loading floor.
If the standard HTL is to be mounted with a rubber seal kit
between the closed platform and vehicle body, the position
of the fitting jigs must be adjusted to suit the thickness of
the sealing rubbers [See §4.3].

§4.2 - Method with vertical platform
Spot weld or bolt 2 temporary mounting supports on the
rear cross member of the loading floor of the vehicle, at
max. 200mm from the outside of the body [See Fig. 4.4].
The fixation of these temporary mounting supports should
be sufficient to carry the proper weight of the platform dur-
ing fitting, but should not be overdone since they will need
to be removed after installation.
