When the lifting height is correctly adjusted, use the func-
tion “close” to tilt the platform in vertical position. Adjust
the stroke on the right side cylinder on the rear of the plat-
form, to set and limit the angle of the platform in closed
position.
•
First unscrew the locking bolt M8 on the side of
the piston head. [See Fig. 9.4]
•
Then adjust the stroke of the piston rod itself.
1. “Winding in” will make the stroke shorter,
and will open the platform further
2. “Unwinding out” will make the stroke longer,
and will put the platform closer to the rear
doors. [See Fig. 9.5]
•
Fasten the locking bolt M8 again after finishing
this setting.
•
When the lifting height and closed position are adjusted,
execute all functions at least 2 times, so that the hydraulic
cylinders can be purged.
•
In order to execute a complete purge, keep the rear of the
vehicle elevated from the ground . Starting from the plat-
form in stow position,
1. Open the platform completely (further down below
horizontal position), until the tilt cylinder is fully re-
tracted, and continue to push the function “open” for
another 20 sec [See Fig. 9.6];
2. Tilt the platform back up to horizontal position, and
lower the platform completely (further down below
normal ground level), until the lift cylinders are fully
retracted, and continue to push the function “lower” for
another 20 sec. [See Fig. 9.7]
•
Foresee a bridge plate (self made or option S243 /
S243.B) to close the gap between the curbed loading floor
of the vehicle, and the straight front edge of the open plat-
form. [See Fig. 9.8 and Fig. 9.9]
