Configuration options for both control modes 

 

On the Common Tab 
Beep on error 

 
(default: unchecked) 

When the “Beep on error” checkbox is 
checked the internal buzzer beeps for a short 
period when an activate or deactivate 
command fails. 
This audible signal can be very useful but 
might be found a bit annoying in a silent 
environment as libraries. 
 

Red on label  

 
(= default setting) 

After checking “Red on label” the status 
button will light up red when the LCS Pro 
detects an active EM Strip and/or a set EAS-
bit or an AFI Check In value. Otherwise the 
Status buttons shows a green backlight. 
 

Red on error  

After checking “Red on error” the status 
button will light up red shortly when an 
activate or deactivate command fails.
