8.1 – Problems: causes and remedies
Problems
1 - The machine does not start
2 – The rotator rotates in the opposite direction from that indicated on the arrow
(on three-phase mod.)
3 - The product does not grind correctly
Cause
1 - The circuit breaker is set at "0".
1 - The plug switch is set at "0"
1 – The start button does not work
1 - Check that all the safety devices are installed and present
2 - Reverse phase wire on plug see section 4.4.
3 - Plate and knife do not close properly
3 - Presence of scoring on the plate or knife not perfectly fitting (on the plate sur-
face)
3 - Loose ring nut
Remedies
1 - Set the switch to "I"
1 - Set the switch to "I"
1 - Contact Technical Support
1 - Check safety devices
2 - Contact Technical Support
3 - Properly tighten the plate and the knife
3 - Replace the defective torque plate and knife
3 - Tighten the ring nut properly
