IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

READ BEFORE USING

TABLE OF CONTENTS

KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS

IN A SAFE PLACE

•  ONLY use the meter for the purposes set

  out in this manual.

•  Do not use ANY accessories not specified

  by the manufacturer.

• Do NOT use the meter if it is

  malfunctioning or damaged.

•  This meter is not designed to cure given

  symptoms or diseases. The measured

data serve solely as reference values.

  Always consult your diabetes physician

and/or GP for the proper interpretation of

  the results you have measured.

•  Read all the instructions carefully and

practice the procedure a number of times

before actually testing your blood sugar

and/or ketone levels. Perform all quality

checks in accordance with the instructions.

•  Keep the meter and all its parts out of

reach of young children. Small parts, such

as the battery cover, the batteries, test

strips, lancets and caps are a potential

  choking hazard.

•  Use the meter in a dry environment,

  especially if synthetic materials are

present (such as synthetic clothing or

carpeting), which can cause a static charge

  that could mean incorrect results.
