Troubleshooting the Copy Program
Suggestions for troubleshooting the Walkabout Copy Program are provided
in the following sections.
Check the Log File:
You may check the location and name of the log file containing diagnostic
data for the previous copy operation as follows:

In most cases, the log file is used primarily by the Dictaphone
Service Department to troubleshoot the operation of the software.

Start the Walkabout Copy Program if it is not already running (see
Starting the Software), and click the Diagnostics tab to view a display
similar to the following sample:

Note that the name and path to the folder containing all the log files is
specified under Log File Path, followed by the name of the log file for the
next copy operation under Log File Name. In this case, the log file for the
previous copy operation would be stored in the same folder under
"Copy000.log".

To return to the configuration data used during the copy operations, click
the File Configuration tab.
