Optional electromechanical access control
The optional access control head module is activated when banknotes are located in the upper unit of
the dispensing/recycling module.
If banknotes are located in the upper unit of the dispensing/recycling module, the following system doors
will also be locked:

Rear door for a Rearload system
If the access control head module is active due to a banknote jam, the system door can no longer be
opened by using the system key alone. In this case, the system can only be opened by using the system
key and opening the safe door.

Activation in normal mode

Turn the system key 45° clockwise.

The system checks whether there are any banknotes in the head area.
No banknotes in the head area

Banknotes in the head area

The latching mechanism of the rear door is blocked and an acoustic signal is emitted.

Turn the key again to unlock the electromechanical access control head module.
•
The rear door can now be unlocked and opened.
