Brake adjustment
Loosen the allen screw
E
by a few turns.
You can now turn the armrest in - or outwards as desired.
As soon as you have forund the position that suits you best,
tighten the screw
E
again firmly.
ATTENTION
The armrest tube must always be located entirely
inside the the vertical push handle tube. Under no
circumstances must this be used as a means of height
adjustment.
The brake is set correctly if there is no play in either the
brake lever or the Bowden cable and if the wheels turn
without any rubbing or grating.
The braking power can be adjusted using the set screw
F
of the
Bowden cable on the brake blocks of the back wheels.
Position yourself inside the rollator. Grab the handgrips with
both hands. You can now place your forearms on the armrests
which will offer you good support. As soon as you stand safely,
you can loosen the parking brakes.
- Do not push the rollator too far in front of you. In order to
give good support, the rollator should be kept close to your
body.
- Control your speed by gently applying both brakes evenly.
- Walk upright and look forwards to be able to avoid any
upcoming obstacles early. Walking backwards with your
rollator is difficult, and not recommended.
To reduce speed while walking just pull both levers evenly and
gently towards you. Always apply the same amount of power
on both brake levers.
To make climbing curbs easier you can lift the front wheels by
pushing the rubber cap at the very end of the rollator frame
downwards with your foot. Make sure to stand securely before
using the curb climber.
To apply the parking brake, pull the brake lever all the way
towards you and then push the small locking lever to the front.
The brake is now locked.
By pulling the brake lever slightly towards you, the parking
brake will be released again.
