Table 13. Menu Items in the NETWORK menu

Item

Description

NETWORK TYPE

Select a type of network connection. Options are: DHCP, ADSL, LAN. NOTE: Depending on the selection, the options in the 

network menu will change appropriately. 

DHCP

If selected, the DVR automatically acquires an IP address from a DHCP server. This address may change without notice. 

ADSL (PPPoE)

ID

: Registered ID is necessary for ADSL connection. 

Password

: A registered password is necessary for an ADSL connection.

LAN

IP

: Enter the IP address assigned to the DVR. This address is fixed until it is manually change. 

GATEWAY

: Enter the Gateway IP address assigned for the DVR. 

SUBNET MASK

: Enter the Subnet Mask for the subnet where the DVR is connected.

DDNS

Enable/disable use of a domain name server through which you access the DVR. If “ON”, the DDNS server name appears in the 

field.  

DDNS 1

: Select one of the following DDNS servers: in USA, use 

www.ddnscenter.com

, in Korea, use 

www.okddns.com

, or 

if in the eu, or use 

www.bestddns.com

DDNS 2

: Select this type to use a general-purpose DDNS Server.

DDNS INTERVAL

: Set the connection interval (5 - 60 minutes).

NETWORK PORT

Set a port number for connecting to network. 

PORT

Port number (default: 5445)

WEB PORT

Web sever port number (default: 80)

PORT FORWARD

Set the port forwarding for connecting to network. 

NETWORK STREAM

Set the value for network streaming.
