Stray ink contaminated the ink jet 
cartridge contacts or the contacts 
in the cartridge housing. 

Clean the contacts inside the 
cartridge housing and on the ink jet

cleaning procedures. 

If the cartridge is properly 
installed in the cartridge housing, 
and the contacts on the cartridge 
and in the cartridge housing have 
been cleaned, the cartridge is 
defective. 

Replace the ink jet cartridge. See

ordering a new cartridge. 

Pockets
