If you are upgrading to the Colorwriter LSR 2000

from version 1.0 of the
Colorwriter, be sure to install new user software, as described below.
User software
The Colorwriter LSR 2000
+
user software is provided on a CD that contains files
for both Windows and Macintosh computers, together with two floppy disks. The
CD comes in two configurations, one for Colorwriter printers with the 16MB
memory configuration, and one for Colorwriter printers with the 32MB or 48MB
memory configuration.

:
In this chapter, software that is part of the Professional Color Kit (PCK) is
indicated with a small PCK icon. Installation instructions for this software are
marked with an icon in the margin.
The top level of the CD has language folders containing localized software and a
Read Me file. In addition, the top level includes folders that contain software that
is not localized but can be used on localized systems.
The two floppy disks that supplement the User Software CD are:
•
Macintosh Disk 1
—installs the Adobe PostScript printer driver (PSPrinter) and
the Colorwriter PPD (PostScript Printer Description) on Macintosh
computers.
•
Windows Disk 2
—Installs the Colorwriter on Windows NT and Windows 95
systems.
The following tables summarize the Colorwriter user software on the CD.
