Select the “Print to” entry that you wish to change.
Select the AppleTalk zone and the name for the Colorwriter.

Click Settings.

In the AppleTalk Port Connection dialog box, turn off “Capture this AppleTalk
printing device.”

Click OK.
7.
Shut down and reboot the Colorwriter.
Moving printer description files to the appropriate location
In some Print or Page Setup dialog boxes (printing from within applications), you
can designate a particular PPD by the name of the file, or you can choose printer
features from information provided by the PPD file. PostScript Printer
Descriptions give your driver and application access to all the features of the
printer.

:
If you print documents to file (which saves a PostScript file) or print off-
site, make sure you have the printer description files (PPD and PDF) installed on
your Macintosh. This ensures that the documents you save are properly formatted
for downloading or printing to the Colorwriter.
