Setting up printing with Windows 95
You can print to the Colorwriter from your Windows 95 workstation over the
parallel port connection, as a client of a NetWare server, or as a client of a
Windows NT workstation or server. In most cases you need to install a PostScript
printer driver and the Colorwriter PPD file on your computer, and set up the
Colorwriter to accept your print jobs. For IPX installation, the NetWare server
must be set up before you set up the Colorwriter and finish setting up the client
workstation.
Windows 95 printing setup is found on the following pages.
Make sure that you have the Windows 95 installation CD or diskettes available
for completing the Colorwriter installation. If you don’t have the installation CD,
ask your administrator to let you access a Windows 95 CD over the network.
