Click the Colorwriter icon and choose Properties from the File menu.
(Alternatively, you can click the right mouse button on the Colorwriter icon and
click the left button on Properties.)

Choose the Details tab.
In the Details tab, confirm that LPT1 is displayed in the list under
Print to the
following port
.

Click OK to return to the Properties window.
You are now ready to print from your applications to the Colorwriter by means of
the parallel port. You can print a test page first to verify the connection (see page
6-24).
