If you minimize the printer window, the icon view indicates the type of printer.

Completing the Windows NT parallel port connection
In the section “Setting up printing from Windows NT” on page 6-26, you
installed the Windows NT PostScript driver and the Colorwriter PPD. Complete
the setup for parallel port printing as follows:
•
Set up the Colorwriter to accept print jobs over the parallel port.
•
Attach a cable between the workstation and the printer.
•
Configure default settings for the port on the workstation.
