The Colorwriter LSR Manager enables you to configure the utilities to use the
TCP/IP protocol or the IPX/SPX protocol, and it also enables you to switch from using
one protocol to the other. However, before you switch protocols, be sure to use the
Installer to install the Colorwriter LSR utilities with the protocol you are planning to
use, and then configure them with the Colorwriter LSR Manager. This ensures that the
necessary files are on your disk and helps you avoid network conflicts.
If you have already run the Installer twice, once with each protocol, you can
switch protocols using the Colorwriter LSR Manager alone.

Select TCP/IP and then click Next.
A dialog box requests the TCP/IP name of the printer.

Enter the TCP/IP name of the printer.
Enter the DNS name or host name you obtained from your network
administrator in step 1 of this procedure. Do not enter the IP address.
You can use the checkbox in this dialog box to set the Colorwriter as the default
printer for the utilities.

Click Finish.
The LSR Manager’s main menu is redisplayed. To activate the Spooler or
Downloader, either click the Spooler or Downloader button, or close the LSR
Manager (by clicking Close) and then double-click one of the utility icons in the
