Understanding the Colorwriter LSR Manager and the NET_WSCK.INI file
The Colorwriter LSR Manager enables you to configure your Windows system so
that the Colorwriter LSR utilities can function from your workstation.
Information about your network is written to a configuration file (
NET_WSCK.INI)
,
and stored in the active System folder on your hard disk.
When you run the Installer, a copy of
NET_WSCK.INI
is initially placed on your
disk in one of two ways:
•
From the Install configuration file dialog box shown below, when you click
Next (also see page 6-59). This places a default configuration file on your disk,
which you can edit automatically with the Colorwriter LSR Manager, or you
can edit manually.
•
When you click Browse from the same window, and select the file from another
source. That source can be a floppy disk prepared by your network
administrator. Using an administrator floppy disk ensures that all workstations
on the network use the same configuration file.
