Choosing the printer location
Choosing the printer location
The location should provide ample space for ventilation and easy servicing of the
printer. Make sure the surface is flat, level, and sturdy so that the gum pegs on the
printer body or on the optional paper feeder unit (if used) can rest securely on it.
The graphics below illustrate the space requirements of the Colorwriter.
Be sure to follow these guidelines when choosing a location for the Colorwriter:
•
Room temperature should be between 59 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit (15 to 30
degrees Centigrade). Relative humidity should be in the 10 to 80 percent range
with no condensation.
•
The printer should never be placed near or over a radiator or heat register.
