Printer control panel functions
The printer control panel on the front of the Colorwriter enables you to set
options and view the status of print jobs and the printer. The density control
panel on the back of the printer can be used to adjust the color quality of the
Colorwriter.

Printer control panel functions
This section describes the functions of the printer control panel, illustrated below:
Activity lights
The activity lights indicate printer status. They have the following meanings:
Lit when the printer is online and ready to print new jobs.
Flashes when the printer is receiving data, processing, printing, or when the
Downloader or Spooler is connected.
Lit when the printer requires operator intervention. Flashes when the
printer is warming up or there is an error that prevents printing.
The upper cassette light is lit when the main (upper) paper cassette is
selected as the default tray or requested by the current print job.
