Setting up the printer
select the characters. The password can be any combination of letters and
numbers up to 16 characters. When you are finished, press the Enter button. You
are then prompted to enter the new password again to verify that you entered it
correctly.

OTE
:
The password is case-sensitive.
You must enter exactly the same password both times. If you make a mistake, you
will be prompted to enter the password again. The new password is effective until
you change it.
Clearing job logs and printer queues
The
CLEAR LOG/QUEUES
option enables you to delete the job log and all queued
jobs on the Colorwriter. When you select this option, you are prompted to
CONFIRM CLEAR
. Press
↑
for
YES
or
↓
for
NO
. If you choose
YES
, the job log is
cleared, all queued jobs are deleted, and the system reboots.
If a job fails to print and you are unable to cancel it, restart the Colorwriter and
then choose
CLEAR LOG/QUEUES
.
If your Colorwriter has the 16MB memory configuration, spooled jobs are not
stored on the printer, and the menu displays
CLEAR JOB LOG
. When you select
CLEAR JOB LOG
, you are prompted to
CONFIRM CLEAR
. Press

for
YES
or
↓
for
NO
.
If you choose
YES
, the job log is cleared.
