Disarming Area Systems During an Alarm
1.
While the alarm bell or siren
sounds, the screen displays a red
keypad background, the zone
name and number. Press
CMD
until
ARM DISARM
displays.
After the pre-programmed alarm
communication delay, the alarm is
sent to the Central Station. This allows you to investigate the
alarm prior to disarming the system. This display remains on the
screen until a selection is made, the blue mini shield is pressed,
or the internal system bell cutoff timer expires.
Note:
The alarm sounder will silence at the first key pressed but
this does not cancel the alarm.
Note:
From this point the disarming sequence is the same as Area
Disarming steps 2 through 4 in the previous section.
2.
The screen may display
ALARM
CANCELLED
if your system was
disarmed after alarm message had
been sent to the central station.
If your system was disarmed before
the alarm message had been sent to
the central station, the screen may
display
ALARM NOT SENT
.
3. If all areas are disarmed, the screen
displays
ALL SYSTEM OFF
in the
System Status area on the Main
Screen to confirm the system is
disarmed.
